I’m a Charlotte, NC native who has lived locally all my life. I love being a southerner and being surrounded by all of the southern cliches that have become parts of my life and personality from savoring traditional southern staples like biscuits and grits (sugar-free, of course) to relishing the warm hospitality, church culture, and the simple joys of gardening, I take pride in the tapestry of southern living that has shaped my identity.

I’m a homebody, who loves campfire stories and urban legends. When the work week has come to an end, there’s nothing I like more than settling down in front of the television with a full plate of (insert almost any kind of junk food here), and immersing myself in a good scary movie.

Graphic Designer.
With a rich 17-year tenure as a graphic designer, I’ve had the privilege to collaborate with renowned clients such as Belk, Electrolux, Laura Ashley, and Entrematic. My professional journey began working for small printing enterprises, where I honed my skills in print design and client engagement. Gradually, I transitioned to larger-scale e-commerce ventures, embracing diverse responsibilities that included creating web graphics, social media assets, and brand identity. These areas now stand as my specialized forte.

Public Speaker.
I engage in speaking on a diverse range of subjects, with a primary focus on themes such as female empowerment, entrepreneurship, thriving in the corporate world, boosting productivity, and mastering personal finance. My distinctive approach to speaking infuses vibrant authenticity, intertwining personal experiences with profound life lessons. My ultimate aim is to ensure that my message resonates deeply, making it easy for people to connect with, and to leave my talks transformed, having gained fresh perspectives.

My first published work, titled “Be Happy,” delves into the realm of simple, actionable techniques for uplifting one’s spirits and savoring life’s moments. This book was born during a particularly challenging chapter in my own life, where I looked ways to extend a helping hand to those who might be grappling with sadness, grief, or depression.
